Lotto MAX Main Prize Swells to CA$60 Million

Lotto MAX is renowned for its constantly growing Main prize and the generous additional prizes it is able to unveil during every weekly draw. September 4 is about to bring a Main prize of CA$60 million and all eyes are set on the popular lottery offering. In addition to that, there will also be as many as six CA$1-million Maxmillion prizes.

Over the past few weeks, the Lotto MAX jackpot has been growing and not a single ticket managed to match the numbers drawn during the two weekly draws. September 1 saw the most recent regular draw which brought some CA$55 million in the form of a Main prize up for grabs. Without winners, this payout went on growing.

CA$60m Main Prize

For many Canadians, this gradual increase of the Main prize is among the most riveting lottery experiences, as many of them purchase lottery tickets religiously and look forward to each weekly draw. Now that the Main prize is approaching its cap amounting to CA$70 million, all eyes are set on it and individuals purchase tickets ahead of the upcoming draw.

Individuals seeking the lottery jackpot and a way to change their life could turn to lottery gaming, as the CA$5 lotto tickets give them the opportunity to win big. Players often buy them when they go grocery shopping and this ends up changing their future thanks to a hefty prize. September 1 brought the latest draw highlighting several numbers.

Those were 02, 09, 29, 30, 31, 35, 37, as well as the bonus one 19. Not a single ticket managed to become eligible for the cash payout coming with this draw and the Main prize remained untouched. However, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation confirmed that one of the Maxmillions prizes would soon make its way to the province, as one player has become eligible for it.

Lotto 6/49

Whoever is in possession of the winning ticket has a total of 12 months to contact the lottery corporation and claim their prize in time. If the deadline comes without a claim, the Maxmillions prize would no longer be accessible by the winner. For the time being no one has contacted Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. The upcoming Lotto MAX draw will bring six of those CA$1-million prizes.

In the meantime, Lotto 6/49 is also swelling and September 5 is scheduled to bring a Main prize amounting to some CA$11 million. Along with that jackpot, there will also be one Guaranteed CA$1-million prize coming with the regular draw. September 2 saw the most recent Lotto 6/49 draw which highlighted the numbers 01, 05, 15, 23, 25, 31, as well as the bonus 40.

The Main prize coming with that particular draw amounted to some CA$7,995,393.10. No tickets managed to become eligible for the cash prize. However, two tickets matched five of the six drawn numbers along with the bonus one and this resulted in a payout of CA$95,197.40 for each of them. Those players also have a total of 52 weeks to claim their prize in time.
